Thanks ya'll. I have to say that after taking these pictures I had serious thoughts about never wearing the dress again. I can see every imperfection. For some reason when I see a picture of myself I'm surprised that I'm not 5'8 and 140lbs. :) Becky, I'm so used to everything being to small that I never imagined the dress was too big. I'm going to really pay attention to that when I put it on the next time and I'll have it altered if it's needed. Kristen, any shoe ideas? I am also looking for a colorful necklace to wear with it.
I'm all for red shoes with a red beaded necklace or chandelier earrings, but you can do what you think is best. I tend to shy away from too much pastel with black (tends to look too sweet to me for some reason).
I don't like black and red together, but that's just my opinion... I'd go with silver jewelry and a strappy black sandal.
I hear you on the being surprised when things are too big. It's like I think they can't make anything that would actually be too big for me and I have to be careful because I tend to buy things too big (maybe it's the trying to hide under a tent mentality)but we(even us big girls) look so much better when things actually fit.
you know, i have some bronzy-gold wedge sandals that i think would look great with that dress and yeah, i think it looks a little big. Good call Becky!
I guess I'm thinking of Cameron Diaz in her fabulous black dress with red shoes. Just having a color to pep things up, you know? You don't have to do red, but don't feel like you have to stick to black or something neutral, okay?

i love that we're getting to see each other's faces these days.
i think i would think you looked cute if i ran into you.
You just can't go wrong with a little black dress.
I think you look very sexy! and put together.
Hubba-hubba-hubba. Super sexy.
With a kicky pair of shoes, you're golden.
Like it.
I can see you dancing in Mexico.
It looks a little big you for you around the sash under the chest -- if you knew someone who could sew . . .

Erica the sandals sound perfect! I'm going shoe shoping Sunday. :)
Kristen, I'm trying to be brave and go for a red shoe, but I don't know if I can do it! :)
A, I lean towards the black and silver too.
Who knows what I'll get! :)
