I've forgiven myself of my past diet offences and am moving on. It's Monday and that means 30 minutes on the ever exciting elliptical and weight training. My short term goal is to drop 10 lbs before my step-sisters wedding in March. David has been fairly on track with his diet and exercise. I wish he were a bit more enthusiastic about cardio, but that is probably asking too much.

Yeah, a lot of people feel like cardio sucks. Sometimes it's just a matter of finding something they like. (I like running so that helps me.)

Maybe after he has built up his endurance and dropped some weight, he might want to try HIIT since it's a lot shorter (20 minutes or so).

Yeah, I'm with David, cardio is the hardest part for me. About the best I ever do is walking fast and I haven't even been doing that.

Shame, shame, shame on us.

I keep telling myself "self, cardio is what you need to keep that ticker pumping..."

I don't listen very well :(

Meh, cardio is overrated. TONS of cardio is REALLY overrated. Get sweaty doing gardening, house work, lifting heavy stuff. Eat good stuff. Your heart will be fine.

David's idea of cardio is pressing the channel up button on the remote. :)
