Yesterday, I had my 20 week appointment, and everything is going well.
I've gained 2 1/2 pounds, though I feel like I've gained ten. My blood pressure is 120/60, which they say is good, but I have no idea. My uterus is now at my belly button, and the baby is the size of a large mango. I think I feel the baby moving, but it does not feel like butterflies or flutters. It feels like a kick.

another basketball player???
Has your sister and beau arrived yet?
Nope. They left last night. They should get here just in time for the Arctic Front. -18 degrees. Whoopee.
How amazing! Sometimes, I can't wait to be pregnant and feel that. Is it amazing? Or is it strange? A combination of both maybe?
When I had my second baby, I could feel him moving. It was pretty cool. I remember the first time I felt Kristen move...it was February 6, 1980... the same day I was baptized.
That's a very cool story, Jeanne.
Sandy, I don't have the right adjective. Oddly, when it moves I laugh. It's unexpected and surprising because there's no pattern. I just want to know what it's doing in there.
I don't understand how anyone could ever think they are not human?? They kick and squirm and suck their thumb, push and turn and hiccup.
Wow! How cool!
So are you guys going to find out what sex the baby is before he/she arrives?
They do the breaststroke sometimes, too. And pole vault. heh heh.
Kristen,
Oh, yeah. We're all for modern science.
Cool. My friend didn't/isn't finding out for either of her two kids (one is 16 months, the other is due in June). She said that was fun, too. I think I'll want to know though.
mmm... mango.
just kidding.
